I’m a polymer chemist and materials science expert focused on designing, formulating, and scaling high-performance chemical products. I’ve led and contributed to R&D programs at Fortune 500 companies and early-stage startups, helping move innovative materials from the lab to the market across automotive and industrial manufacturing.
My expertise spans adhesive formulation, surface chemistry, polymer characterization, and materials spec-in for assembly-line production. I work comfortably across the full product lifecycle—from lab synthesis and performance testing to scale-up, customer trials, and commercial launch.
I earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Washington. After 15+ years of hands-on R&D, I recognized how computational methods can dramatically accelerate materials discovery. I’m now completing an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence at Seattle University, focused on AI- and ML-driven materials research.
Areas of expertise include:
Custom polymer and adhesive formulation
Manufacturing-focused product optimization
Materials testing and performance benchmarking
Technical due diligence and technology scouting
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking in the North Cascades and boating in the San Juan Islands. I’m motivated by simplifying complex problems, rapidly prototyping ideas, and helping clients apply the right chemistry to the right challenge.
